Job Summary:

The Operator runs barge-mounted lattice boom crawler cranes, small and large RT cranes, telehandlers, and forklifts. The Operator is also responsible for performing pre-shift safety and maintenance checks on all equipment. We currently have openings available for both first and second shift. The first shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the second shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Weekends and overtime will be assigned as needed. Carry out proper rigging procedures specific to each lift or move. Assist and/or train employees on proper procedures for rigging. Maneuver vehicles and other machinery around the shipyard. What you'll need: High school diploma or GED. Ability to safely and efficiently operate barge mounted lattice boom crawler cranes, small and large RT cranes, telehandlers, and forklifts.
