• We are seeking a skilled Cable & Wire-Harness Assembly Engineering/Floor Technician to support both our Manufacturing Engineering team and our Production Floor. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate process documentation, and successful new product introductions.

• Job Summary:

• This position acts as the liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and Production.

You will support regular production schedules, build prototypes and first-time builds, and help introduce new product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Support communication and workflow between engineering and production.
• Build prototypes and initial production builds.
• Write and update cable/wire harness assembly work instructions.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment, including wire/cable cut machines, crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers.
• Perform functional and continuity testing using test fixtures.
• Solder wires, terminals, electromechanical devices, and electronic components.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of assemblies and finished products.
• Assist with sourcing wires, cables, connectors, terminals, components, and tools.

Qualifications:

• 5•10 years of cable/wire harness manufacturing experience.
• IPC-620 knowledge and certification required.
• Ability to write clear, accurate assembly process instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly/production experience.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Preferred Experience

• Experience sourcing basic electrical components and tools.
