Rigger

Shift:

Days, 6am start time, 4 days, 10 hours per day

Summary:

This position is responsible for moving all tools through the assembly process into testing, quality and onto the truck for shipment to the customer. Ensure all laws, regulations and ordinances are followed in all material movement activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Route items from departments. Operate overhead crane, pallet jack, and forklift in moving tools. 2. verify document for shipment including bill of lading, any export documentation, packing list, photos of shipments and any other documentation required 3. Examine outgoing finished tools to ensure shipments meet specifications 4. Determine proper methods for packing and labeling material for shipment 5. May operate company vehicle 6. Adhere to company policies and procedures 7. Ensure compliance with safety procedures 8. All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of related shipping/material handling experience 2. High School Diploma or GED (preferred) 3. Great attention to detail 4. Ability to safely drive a forklift and overhead crane 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 6. Strong written and oral communication skills 7. Ability to multi-task, while maintaining organization 8. Ability to read, write and complete basic math Background check and drug screening required. No PTO or HOL pay benefit offered with role.

Pay:

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
