FULL TIME POSITIONS ARE MON-THURS 5
30AM-4PM!! Command Electronics is a family owned manufacturer and distributor of 12-volt lighting and accessories serving the recreational vehicle, agricultural, cargo trailer, marine and truck industries.
Command is a domestic manufacturer:
80% of our products are made at our plant in south central Michigan. We have injection molding capabilities as well as expertise in wire harnesses and general assembly. Our company is seeking Wire Harness Assemblers to join our team. We are looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Our schedule consists of 4
  • ten-hour shifts Mon-Thurs 5:30am
  • 4 pm. Pay range is $16/hour
  • 22/hour depending upon experience.

About the Role As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for accurately following measurement and instructions to assemble wire harnesses used by manufacturers in a variety of industries. The successful candidates will read and interpret instructions and assemble parts together. Responsibilities Operate wire harness processing equipment. Assemble wire harness products through the use of assembly documentation, parts lists, hand tools and the knowledge gained through supplied training. Inspect completed products to ensure they meet both internal and customer specifications. Cutting, stripping, marking and terminating wires using hand and semi-automated equipment Manually routing of wires with the use of blueprints and written instructions Utilize braiding machines to coat wire harnesses. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in team continuous improvement projects. Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints and drawings. Previous experience in manufacturing experience is an asset. Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently. Physical Demands Regularly required to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to consistently lift a minimum of 30 lbs
