$39.00 Position Overview The Resident Quality Engineer (RQE) will serve as the primary liaison between the customer plant and the manufacturing facility. This role supports product quality, containment activities, and customer communication to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain strong customer relationships. Key Requirements Prior wire harness experience required (must be clearly reflected on resume) Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 6-10+ years of related experience in manufacturing or quality environment Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, email systems) Excellent communication and organizational skills Responsibilities Act as the main communication link between the customer plant and Delphi Perform first-level analysis of non-conformances and quality issues Verify suspect product and maintain product test equipment Re-verify parts within internal systems and ensure data accuracy Input and manage data in the Incident Reporting System (IRS) Coordinate and execute 24-hour containment activities; escalate as needed Expedite non-conforming material back to Delphi (same-day turnaround when required) Provide technical support and product/system knowledge to the customer Participate in cross-functional response teams to address quality concerns Monitor and help manage customer return PPM (Parts Per Million) metrics Support and coordinate special event or quality-related activities Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth Prepare and submit weekly activity/trip reports Benefits As a Resident Quality Engineer with Bartech Staffing, you will be working through an established and respected staffing organization with over 40 years of serving as a trusted partner to our client companies.
