Wire Harness Quality Inspector - Pay upto $18/hr - Great opportunity for growth! Job Description This role focuses on inspecting and reworking wire harnesses for transit vehicles to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. You will carefully examine connectors and wiring assemblies, identify defects, and remove or correct nonconforming materials within a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment. Responsibilities Inspect wire harnesses for transit vans to ensure they meet established quality and performance standards. Examine connectors and wiring assemblies closely to identify defects, damage, or nonconforming components. Rework wiring and connectors as needed to correct issues and bring products into compliance with specifications. Remove defective or nonconforming materials from the production flow to maintain product integrity. Document inspection findings accurately and communicate issues to the appropriate team members. Follow established quality control and quality assurance procedures throughout the inspection and rework process. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Essential Skills Experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive setting. Hands-on experience with automotive components, wiring, or harnesses. Ability to visually inspect wire harnesses and connectors for defects and inconsistencies. Skill in reworking and handling wires and connectors with precision and care. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures and standards. Basic understanding of automotive and quality principles. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in automotive service or related automotive work. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality inspection tools or checklists. Ability to collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues. Appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial setting is expected, with adherence to all safety and personal protective equipment requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
