CDL Driver / Rigger Full Time and Part Time

Job Summary:

Loading, securing, transport loads to and from job sites, assist crane with rigging and signaling.

Responsibilities& Duties:

Deliver loads while operating a tractor-trailer truck on local routes or construction sites. Load and unload cargo. Attaches loads to rigging equipment to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand or power tools. Signals or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting or moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials. Inspects and tests rigging equipment to ensure safety and reliability. Keep their truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order. Report all incident however minor to dispatch immediately. Follow all Federal, State and Local laws. Conduct a Pre and Post trip inspection of tractor, trailer and load(s) and properly complete a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) on a daily basis. Completion of a Driver's Log on a daily basis. Properly report any mechanical problems to Service Department. Understands and knowledgeable with proper load securement. Must be able to read well, write clearly.

Qualifications& Skills:

Class A or B driver's license in good standing. Valid DOT medical card. Haz. Mat. Certification (not required but a plus) Tanker Endorsement (not required but a a plus) Safeland training (not required but a plus). Defensive driving (not required but a plus). First Aid/CPR (not required but a plus). H2S (not required but a plus). Company Provides 6% Matching 401k
