Full Time, Temporary Schedule:
Normal Work Hours and Days:
Normal work schedules are 12-hour days, up to seven days a week. Days and hours vary based on project schedules, locations and workload. Mandatory overtime based on seasonal workload and remote work settings.
Summary:
Responsible to align, level, and anchor machinery securely on construction (often remote) project sites.
Essential Functions:
Adhere to environmental norms and government policies in order to maintain the ecological balance. Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools. Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps. Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chain falls, gin poles, gallow frames, and other equipment. Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use. Fabricate, set up, and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists, and pulling gear, using hand and power tools. Select gear such as cables, pulleys, shackles, spreader bars and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules. Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability. Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver over, under, and/or around obstacles, using multi-point suspension techniques. Help identify hazardous conditions on the job site. Provides leadership and ensures safety training and practices. Resolves disputes and helps in solving personnel and operational issues.
Other Tasks:
Assist in loading and unloading equipment from or to delivery truck. Performs other related duties, as assigned. Assist driver/operator as requested.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum:
Must have valid Driver License. Must possess Certified or Qualified Rigger Training with one year of previous work experience.
NSTC Card Preferred:
Valid CDL Pile Buck Experience OSH 10Hr Training High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge in oilfield related tools and equipment Knowledge of and ability to read and follow plans, specifications, sketches and grade/mapping control. Knowledge of and ability maintain equipment and follow related procedures. Ability to assess and troubleshoot equipment failure. Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor. Knowledge of and ability to apply first aid. Ability to see and record written data and information. Ability to communicate information in writing so others will understand. Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally with others. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Ability to meet project schedule with dependability and consistency. Ability to wear protective clothing.
