Job Description
Berkeley Outdoors , a locally owned and operated marine dealership in South Carolina, has an immediate opening for an experienced and qualified Marine Service Technician/Rigger at their Columbia (SC) location. The Marine Service Technician and/or Rigger will be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers in furtherance of Berkeley Outdoors' commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate would have years of verifiable mechanical experience (marine experience preferred) and would be motivated to complete quality work in a timely manner. Marine certifications are a plus.
Requirements:
- Prior Marine Service Technician/Mechanical experience (4+ years preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service boats and related marine equipment
- Familiarity with marine tools and uses
- Technical degree, certification, or other degree (preferred)
- Possess strong attention to quality work and detail
- Possess professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Be able to work in indoor/outdoor environment
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be physically capable of bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, lifting, etc.
