In this role, you will assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of rigging systems used to lift and move heavy materials and equipment. Responsibilities Tarping loads Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and inspection of rigging equipment used for lifting heavy loads Support crane operators and heavy equipment operators during lifting operations Handle materials safely using forklifts, boom trucks, and other heavy machinery Perform basic maintenance checks on rigging gear and equipment to ensure safety standards are met Help with shipping & receiving activities by loading and unloading materials in warehouses or job sites Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and ensure project timelines are met Skills Forklift Certified (Preferred) Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand rigging systems and equipment operation Experience operating or assisting with cranes, forklifts, boom trucks preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving heavy objects, and working at heights when necessary Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to safety and problem-solving
