Turner Boatworks is a medium sized custom boat manufacturer located in Palacios, TX. We specialize in the manufacturing of high quality performance fishing boats.

Job Description:

Perform a variety of functions in the assembly, rigging and completion of high-performance custom fishing boats. Experience with Mercury Marine products is a major asset.

Duties:

• Obtain, review and follow instructions for rigging and assembly of each custom boat.
• Perform precision cutting and drilling operations.
• Use various adhesives and sealants to create water tight seals.
• Assemble and install finished parts and components including deck to hull, windshields, trim moldings, gas tanks, batteries, plumbing systems, wiring systems, steering and control components, engine mounting, etc.
• In assembly and rigging operations, use of variety of equipment and materials such as hand tools, screw guns, drills, knives, saws, hoists, jigs, fixtures and fasteners.
• Knowledge of DC electrical systems preferred
• Responsible for insuring quality of rigging and assembly operations performed.
• Works well with other co workers.
• Adheres to safety policies and practices.
• Punctuality and attendance is mandatory .
• All other duties are assigned
