In this role, you will be responsible for safely assembling, installing, and maintaining rigging systems used to lift and move heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy machinery and contribute to large-scale projects that make a real impact. Responsibilities Set up and secure rigging equipment such as slings, hooks, pulleys, and cranes to facilitate the safe lifting of heavy loads Operate cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety awareness Conduct thorough inspections of rigging gear and lifting devices before use to ensure safety standards are met Coordinate with team members to plan lifting operations and ensure all safety protocols are followed during material handling Assist in the loading and unloading of materials at construction sites, warehouses, or shipping & receiving areas Maintain detailed records of rigging setups, inspections, and operational activities for compliance purposes Support construction site activities by handling materials efficiently and ensuring smooth workflow What to

MUST HAVE RIGGING CERTIFICATION!

This job is located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT and will be running for approximately 3 months. The shifts for this job are 7/12s, and there is no per diem so locals are highly preferred. This job operates around the clock, so there is both a day shift and night shift available. Great opportunity for long term stability and the opportunity to get on additional shutdowns in the future! Weekly pay and eligibility for full time benefits.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 10 PANEL DRUG SCREEN, PHYSICAL AND HAZMAT FIT TEST.
