Shingler / Roofer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential roofing, with the ability to work safely and efficiently on residential projects. This role involves tear-off and installing shingle roofs. Candidates with a minimum of 3 year experience in shingle roofing will excel in this position. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Tear-of of existing shingle roofs Installation of residential shingle roofs according to standards in Alaska using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site Utilize skills in carpentry, framing, and other related trades as needed for roofing projects Apply caulking, flashing, and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and durability of roofing systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site Experience Minimum of 3 years proven experience in residential roofing installation Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting is highly desirable Familiarity with safety protocols related to roofing and construction sites Candidates should demonstrate strong craftsmanship skills combined with the ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.
