General Manager Position Summary Diversified Roofing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Superintendent to lead and support multiple roofing crews in the field. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating labor and materials, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining job profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work through strong team management. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate daily labor needs for multiple roofing crews Lead and manage 3 Foremen and their respective labor crews (2-5 employees per crew) Coordinate and deliver materials to job sites as needed Monitor and manage job costs, including margins, purchase orders, and overtime Ensure all crews follow proper safety standards and fall protection practices Conduct routine job site visits to monitor progress, efficiency, and quality Support crews in the field and assist with tasks when needed Oversee and enforce company policies, procedures, and performance expectations Maintain clear communication with the General Manager and internal teams Promote and uphold Diversified Roofing's core values and culture Ensure all drivers maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Operate company vehicle responsibly (vehicle and gas card provided) Perform additional duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset Effective leadership and team management capabilities Ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple crews and priorities Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to step in wherever needed Working knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation processes Ability to read and understand job scopes, schedules, and purchase orders Experience & Education Requirements Prior roofing experience or experience working at heights with fall protection preferred Construction and/or tract home experience preferred Supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must have proper boots suitable for job sites Working Conditions, Schedule & Physical Demands Work is performed both outdoors on job sites and indoors as needed Regular business hours with additional hours during peak periods Frequent travel between job sites Use of standard office technology for administrative duties Ability to lift, carry, and move materials Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work at heights for extended periods
