We are seeking a motivated and reliable Pool Construction Field Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is based in National City, and our service area spans most of San Diego County. As a member of our team, you will play an essential role in the construction and remodeling of swimming pools, ensuring quality work is done safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Work with a team of field assistants to:- Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, backfilling, and compacting materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading building materials and equipment.
- Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, compact excavators, roller compactors, tampers
- Drive company vehicles while towing equipment trailers. (5500MD utility truck, 3500HD dump truck, 2500HD utility truck). California Driver's License with clean driving record required.
- Clean and maintain the construction site by removing materials and debris.
- Follow instructions from construction managers and supervisors to meet project goals.
- Provide regular status updates on task completions.
- Other duties as assigned to support the team and project needs.

Highly Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in landscaping and/or construction field work.
- 3+ years of experience in swimming pool construction.
- Trade skills (plumbing, electrical, concrete work/forms, pool fencing, basic hardscaping).
- Strong understanding of site work, excavation, landscaping, irrigation, drainage, and pool installation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Ability to work outdoors in all safe weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50-90 lbs.) on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay:
$25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience- Mobile phone allowance
