Roof coating sales and install supervision

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Roof Coating Sales and Install Supervision professional to lead our roofing projects from sales through installation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer engagement, ensuring high-quality roof coating solutions are delivered efficiently and safely. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the entire installation process, supervise skilled workers, and drive sales growth by providing expert guidance on roof coating options. Your hands-on experience in construction and roofing, along with your leadership skills, will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence. We will be offering a roof coating with a "Lifetime" (30/yr) roof coating that is unique in the roofing space. We are the only SoCal authorized installer of this oil based epoxy type polyurethane system that has the most absolute adhesion values ever recorder with roof coating products. The current products that are installed in the desert are typically need re-coating every 5-7 years. This product ends that cycle. You need a good sales track history and good rapport with customers. Responsibilities Lead the sales process by consulting with clients on roof coating options, providing accurate estimates, and explaining project scope clearly. Supervise the installation of roof coatings, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and quality benchmarks. Coordinate with construction teams to plan daily activities, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment necessary for roof coating applications and related construction tasks. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and facilitate precise work execution. Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, identify potential issues such as leaks or structural concerns, and implement corrective actions promptly. Manage safety protocols on-site by enforcing proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting safety meetings, and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards. Assist in estimating costs for materials and labor by leveraging construction estimating skills; coordinate procurement of supplies including caulking, metal stud framing materials, and other necessary components. Provide training and supervision to installation crews in techniques such as stucco application, tile laying, masonry work, welding, carpentry (including trim carpentry), framing, restoration processes, and other related trades. Foster positive relationships with clients through transparent communication and exceptional service delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation supervision or related construction site management roles with a focus on roof coatings. Strong knowledge of construction estimating methods and blueprint reading; familiarity with schematics is highly desirable. Hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, heavy lifting techniques, and safety equipment usage. Experience working on construction sites involving masonry, metal stud framing, plumbing systems, restoration projects, remodeling work, welding processes, tile laying or concrete forming is preferred. Ability to read technical drawings including schematics and blueprints accurately to guide installation activities. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams of skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, drywall installers (including stucco), fabricators or handyman workers. Knowledge of roofing materials including coatings as well as related trades like caulking and trim carpentry is a plus. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination; proactive problem-solving attitude required.
