Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable metal roofing contractor or crew for a residential roof replacement project on a mountain cabin in Posey, CA (Tulare County). The job consists of approximately 1,200-1,300 sq ft on a gambrel/barn-style roof.
Scope of Work:
Two-layer tearoff (existing metal over comp shingles) down to decking Proper disposal of all roofing debris Inspect decking after tearoff and report any damaged areas Installation of fire shield peel and stick underlayment (Class A required) Installation of 29-gauge white metal panels on two-pitch gambrel roof (10/12 lower slope, 6/12 upper slope) Valley flashing on both sides of V joint where lower roof meets upper barn section Re-flash chimney penetration Install drip edge, closure strips, ridge cap Full cleanup and debris haul-off
What We're Looking For:
2+ years hands-on metal roofing experience specifically Comfortable with steep pitch (10/12) and gambrel roof profiles Ability to work independently or bring a small crew Own tools and fall protection equipment Reliable transportation to remote mountain location References from past metal roofing work a plus
Location:
Posey, CA — Tulare County mountains. Property has drivable bridge access, pickup trucks only, no trailers.
Pay:
Up to $2,500.00 per week
