Stormwater Technician The Garrett Companies, LLC - 3.7 Denver, CO Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $55,000 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications OSHA (regulatory compliance area) Budget management Outdoor work Customer service Driver's License Climbing Forecasting Construction Budgeting Construction workplace safety regulations Full Job Description Major Objectives The Storm Water Technician will perform semi-skilled manual work, which is performed alone or as part of crew, involving stormwater system inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Inspections include storm drain inlets, yard inlets, pipes, ditches, and streams. This position is required to perform manual labor in the field and will be required to perform heavy physical labor in all types of weather conditions, using a variety of tools and equipment. This individual is to have the ability to be directed and complete tasks under either direct supervision or direction in a timely and professional manner.

Denver, CO Pay:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year Specific Duties and Responsibilities Ability to maintain positive organizational focused relationship with co-workers, supervisors, agencies, general public, and all other internal and external customers. Demonstrates appropriate customer service skills. Capable of performing both skilled and un-skilled tasks of a physically demanding nature. General tasks include but are not limited to digging out holes (both manually and with equipment), fill depressions with slag and or other SWMP approved materials, debris removal, storm water runoff / curb grubbing, maintenance and repair of installed BMP's as directed by direct supervisor (to include waddles, track outs, silt fence(s), check damns, dandy bags, detention basins, and general site cleaning and maintenance). Performs all other duties as required to meet organizational needs. Ability to operate equipment, including but not limited to truck driving, ski steer operation (training and certification to be coordinated with supervisor, trench machine, general hand tools, and backpack blowers. Ability to perform preventative maintenance of equipment as needed equipment operation. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Valid driver's license required. Means of transportation (as needed). General knowledge of construction work sites relative to PPE and general safety awareness (as dictated by OSHA guidelines and company standards). Must be consistently detail oriented. Strong organizational skills. Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges. Budget-management skills. Professional judgment and discretion that comes from experience in working with customer services, internal teams, and 3rd party consultants. Physical Demands Ability to climb up to four flights of stairs to access apartments. Ability to walk several acres to inspect community. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. to perform all aspects of the job on a daily basis. Possibly operating dangerous equipment.
