In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality parking lot markings, including lines, symbols, and directional arrows, to create a safe and organized parking environment. Your expertise in layout design and precision striping will help transform parking areas efficiently and professionally, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance traffic flow and overall site aesthetics. Duties Prepare parking surfaces by cleaning, masking, and setting up layout guides using hand tools and power tools. Apply striping paint with airless paint spraying equipment to create clear, durable lines based on new layout schematics. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout plans to accurately execute the new parking lot design. Use construction estimating skills to determine materials needed for each project and ensure efficient resource management. Incorporate color theory principles when selecting paint colors for different markings or signage. Perform site inspections to verify proper line alignment, spacing, and adherence to safety standards throughout the project. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials following safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in parking lot striping or related construction painting projects, especially with new layout implementations. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, and surface preparation techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and layout plans accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating, basic math skills, and material calculations. Experience with color theory application for visual clarity and safety markings. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to work effectively in outdoor environments. Additional skills such as masonry, plastering, caulking, fixture installation, or renovation experience are a plus but not required. Join our team to bring innovative parking lot designs to life!
