In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and visually appealing siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help enhance the exterior aesthetics and protection of our clients' properties, contributing to the overall success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction, with a focus on siding installation, to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure and prepare surfaces for siding installation using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise fit and finish. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project requirements. Install siding materials, including Hardie board. Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely on-site while maintaining proper posture. Operate scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols on the construction site. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on siding installation or related trades such as carpentry or roofing. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment used in exterior finishing projects. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to siding installation. Hands-on experience in restoration work or remodeling projects is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring heavy lifting and sustained manual effort throughout the workday.
