The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofs. The roofer will ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with building codes and company standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace roofing systems (shingles, metal, TPO, EPDM, tile, etc.). Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures. Measure and cut roofing materials to fit around vents, flashing, and walls. Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation. Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards. Work collaboratively with team members and foremen to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally. Requirements Proven experience as a roofer or in a related construction trade. Knowledge of different roofing materials, installation methods, and tools. Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it (preferred). Preferred Qualifications Experience with both residential and commercial roofing systems. Familiarity with solar integration or electrical roof prep (a plus for solar companies like Solar Dynamics). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to supervise small teams or assist in training apprentices. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or salary based on experience.
