Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, membrane, and flat roof systems. Accurately execute roofing projects according to specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Perform surface preparation tasks such as flashing installation, caulking, and weatherproofing to enhance roof durability. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal during and after project completion. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and building codes to ensure a secure work environment for all team members. Skills Accurate project execution. Extensive experience with roofing installation techniques across various materials including shingles, metal panels, membrane systems, and flat roof solutions. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., nail guns, drills), and heavy equipment operation relevant to roofing tasks. (Foreman) Ability to perform construction inspection checks ensuring quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project. (Foreman) Experience with related trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry), masonry (concrete finishing), plastering, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation (tile laying), restoration work, hardscape construction, welding, and remodeling is a plus. Understanding of safety procedures specific to roofing environments including fall protection measures. Communication skills for collaborating with team members and being part of a productive team.
