Waterproofing Job Prep / Construction Laborer

The Role In waterproofing, the finish is only as good as the preparation. As a Job Prep Technician , you are the backbone of our projects. Your main responsibility is to ensure that concrete, foundations, basements, and crawlspaces are perfectly excavated, cleaned, and repaired before our final waterproofing systems are applied. No direct waterproofing experience? No problem. If you have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we will train you.

Key Responsibilities Site Prep & Demolition:

Clear debris, scrape old coatings, and use wire brushes, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums to prepare concrete surfaces.

Surface Repair:

Use tools to open up cracks and smooth out concrete. Mix and apply hydraulic cement or mortars to patch voids.

Excavation & Shoveling:

Assist with hand-digging trenches around foundations and managing dirt/gravel to expose exterior walls.

Material & Equipment Setup:

Unload trucks, stage heavy materials (drainage mats, membranes, cement bags), and mix multi-part primers or sealants.

Property Protection:

Set up plastic sheeting, tape, and drop cloths to protect our clients' homes and landscaping from dust and debris.

Safety First:

Maintain a clean workspace and properly use safety gear, including respirators and dust-collection systems.

What We're Looking For Hardworking:

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding labor.

Versatile:

Comfortable working in confined spaces (crawl spaces) and varying weather.

Reliable:

Punctual with a valid driver's license.

Pay Range:

$45,000-$65,000 per year dependent on experience
