In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing playground equipment, surfacing, and related structures with precision and care. Your expertise will help create safe environments where children can learn, play, and grow. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation of playground components. Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently during installation processes. Install various playground elements including slides, swings, climbing structures, surfacing materials, and safety barriers following safety standards and specifications. Manage site preparation tasks such as concrete forming, masonry work, framing, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, and surface finishing to ensure a solid foundation for equipment. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design plans, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the installation process. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high safety standards. Perform touch-up work such as painting, sealing, or restoration to ensure the longevity and aesthetic appeal of installed structures. Experience Proven experience in construction management or construction site work with a focus on outdoor installations or playground projects preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Hands-on experience with construction inspection processes to ensure quality control during installation phases. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems (including schematics), concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying or related trades is highly desirable. Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or excavators used for site preparation or material handling. Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety protocols related to playground installation projects.
