Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools Support the setup of scaffolding, safety barriers, and other site infrastructure to ensure safe working conditions Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans related to roofing projects Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or framing components in accordance with safety standards Use caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to ensure durable and aesthetically pleasing results Help with surface preparation including stucco application or masonry work as needed for roofing projects Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Experience No prior roofing or construction experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training on-site Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety is a plus Experience in related trades such as carpentry, framing, drywall installation, or handyman work is beneficial but not required Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the workday Willingness to learn blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical aspects of roofing systems Previous exposure to construction estimating or restoration projects can be advantageous but is not mandatory Embark on an energetic journey into the world of roofing with us!
