Wildlife Technician

Job Summary Advantage Termite and Pest Control is seeking skilled and dedicated Wildlife Technician to join our team. Advantage has been in business for over 30 years. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years experience in proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields. Previous Wildlife experience a plus but not necessary. What does a day in the life look like? Perform interior and exterior inspections of customers properties, including inspecting roofs, attics, crawlspace, and other confined spaces to identify pest or wildlife entry points and potential vulnerabilities. Properly and safely apply products to eliminate pest or wildlife from residential and commercial accounts. Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions. Provide detailed reports and review completed scope of work with customers. Conduct minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other areas where wildlife may gain entry. Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, vent covers, and other barriers to prevent wildlife access.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years in the work force, in any field Must have a clean driving record and valid driver license. Never convicted of a felony We are a Smoke free environment

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.). Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely. Must pass a background check. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in the field independently. Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
