This role helps protect buildings from water damage by ensuring proper drainage and gutter performance. Key Responsibilities Install gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, and drainage systems on homes and commercial buildings Measure, cut, assemble, and secure gutter materials including aluminum, vinyl, steel, and copper Inspect existing gutter systems for leaks, clogs, sagging, or structural damage Perform gutter cleaning and seasonal maintenance services Repair or replace damaged sections of gutters and downspouts Ensure proper slope and water flow for effective drainage Operate ladders, lifts, and basic hand and power tools safely Remove debris from roofs, gutters, and drainage areas Seal joints and fasten components to prevent leaks Follow safety procedures while working at heights and in varying weather conditions Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites Maintain a clean and organized work environment Complete work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to work safely at heights and on ladders Knowledge of gutter installation techniques and roofing drainage systems Experience using hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors Good time management and teamwork skills Valid driver's license preferred Construction, roofing, or exterior home improvement experience is a plus Work Environment Outdoor work in various weather conditions Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, and standing Residential and commercial construction or maintenance settings Typical Duties May Include Gutter installation Gutter cleaning Downspout repair Leak sealing Gutter guard installation Roof drainage inspection Preventive maintenance services Seasonal Work 1099 position
