Proof of experience/resume will be expected to be provided upon application. Starting pay for experienced workers will be discussed based on level of experience upon application as well. Location of job sites are within the Metro Detroit area, such as Northville, Novi, Farmington, Plymouth, Bloomfield Hills, etc. Therefore you will need to be flexible as far as job site location goes. You must have your own source of transportation as well. Responsibilities Assist with all phases of home remodeling projects, including demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finishing touches Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as cutting, sanding, and assembling materials Support skilled tradespeople with tasks involving plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing, and other specialized areas Prepare job sites by setting up protective layers such as plastic and drop cloths to ensure we are protecting surfaces, and organizing materials for smooth workflow Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with construction techniques such as concrete forming, stucco application, framing, trim carpentry, masonry, roofing, drywall finishing, tile laying and flooring installation Ability to perform tasks involving caulking, plastering, fabrication, glass installation and cabinet installation Basic understanding of electrical systems and plumbing work is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and safety compliance Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing project needs This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in residential remodeling while contributing to high-quality home transformations.
