Roofer Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems across various project sites. Duties Assist roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to ensure a secure work environment Carry materials such as metal panels, and insulation to designated areas on the roof or site Support in measuring and cutting roofing materials according to project specifications Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials and equipment around the job site Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Collaborate with team members on framing, flashing, caulking, and other related tasks to ensure seamless roofing installation or repairs Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics for roofing projects Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and utility knives; experience with power tools including drills Experience working on roofing projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during material handling tasks Basic carpentry skills including trim carpentry, and welding are advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques Join our team as a Roofer Laborer and be part of a vibrant construction environment where your energy makes a real difference!
