Residential Repair Technical Specialist

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Repair Technical Specialist to join our team. This role involves diagnosing roofing issues, performing high-quality repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through safe and efficient workmanship. The ideal candidate has hands-on roofing experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair roof leaks, storm damage, and other roofing issues. Perform shingle, tile, metal, and flat roof repairs as needed. Flash and counter flash a chimney (sheet metal stepped counter flashing) Vinyl siding and soffit repairs EPDM/TPO/modified bitumen repairs Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and roofing equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance and minor installations when required. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company guidelines. Provide accurate assessments and explain repair needs to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work area, both on-site and in company vehicles. Document work performed, including before-and-after photos and repair notes. Assist with emergency repair calls as needed. Qualifications Previous roofing repair or roofing installation experience required (5+ years preferred). Knowledge of various roofing systems (asphalt shingles, tile, metal, flat/low slope). Siding installation experience Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor daily. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Skills OSHA safety certification or willingness to obtain.
