We are seeking an experienced Framer / Skilled Craftsman who takes pride in quality workmanship, values teamwork, and desires to be part of a company where character matters as much as skill. Position Summary The Framer / Skilled Craftsman plays a key role in constructing post-frame, steel-frame, agricultural, commercial, and residential building projects. This position requires a strong understanding of framing and metal building systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Compensation:
Starting Pay:
$26.50 - $34.50 per hour Pay is based on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and character. Key Responsibilities Construct and frame post-frame, steel, commercial, agricultural, and residential buildings Install wall panels, roofing systems, insulation, canopies, and building components Read and interpret construction drawings and plans Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and jobsite equipment Assist with building layout, steel erection, and project tie-ins Maintain quality workmanship and a safe, professional jobsite Work effectively with crew members, foremen, and project managers
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have experience with: Metal building and framing construction Standing seam roofing systems Steel erection and wall panel installation Building tie-ins and retrofit work Commercial, agricultural, or post-frame construction Must be able to: Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Lift and handle construction materials regularly Demonstrate strong attendance and dependability Work safely and efficiently as part of a team What We're Looking For At Koehn Building Systems, skill matters—but character matters just as much.
