Position Summary The Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, inspecting roofs, educating homeowners, managing customer relationships, and closing roofing and exterior restoration projects. This role combines field sales, customer service, and project coordination to ensure a positive experience from initial contact through project completion. Key Responsibilities Generate new business through door-to-door canvassing, referrals, networking, and self-generated leads. Conduct roof and exterior inspections for residential and commercial properties. Identify storm, hail, wind, and age-related roofing damage. Educate homeowners on roofing systems, repair options, and replacement solutions. Assist customers with the insurance claims process when applicable. Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with project managers and production teams to ensure smooth project execution. Track leads, appointments, and sales activities using CRM software. Attend company meetings, training sessions, and industry events. Qualifications Required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Comfortable working outdoors and climbing ladders when necessary. Basic technology skills, including smartphones and CRM systems. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
