In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of ensuring the stability and durability of building foundations through expert waterproofing and foundational work. Your hands-on skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm will contribute to high-quality construction projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in various construction disciplines while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Duties Assist in the preparation and installation of foundation waterproofing systems using various materials and techniques. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise application of waterproofing and foundation work. Support concrete forming, finishing, and masonry tasks to create stable base structures. Perform site inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and project specifications. Collaborate with team members on tasks such as caulking, plastering, framing, roofing, and restoration projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Qualifications Prior experience in construction site work or related fields is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus. Basic understanding of construction disciplines such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, or concrete finishing is advantageous. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team environment. Strong safety awareness with the ability to adhere to all safety guidelines on-site.
