This role combines hands-on supervision of roofing crews essential for successful project execution. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality roofing solutions. You will play a vital role in ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of projects, all while maintaining excellent communication with team members and clients. Responsibilities Supervise roofing crews on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications. Operate heavy equipment such a boom truck, forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently to support roofing installation activities. Coordinate with project managers to schedule work phases, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, equipment usage, safety incidents, and project progress. Assist in estimating project costs by providing input on equipment needs, material quantities, and labor requirements using construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or Primavera P6. Skills Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in roofing projects. Skilled in operating heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and other construction equipment; certified OSHA safety training required. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawing. Ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety standards and quality control measures. Strong management skills with experience supervising multiple crews or projects simultaneously; excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with clients and team members.
