Duties Assist roofers with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools on-site Support the installation of roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membrane systems under supervision Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure roofing components Help prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure smooth workflow Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment Read blueprints, schematics, and instructions to understand project requirements and assist accordingly Skills Basic knowledge of construction tools including hand tools and power tools Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking on uneven surfaces Ability to follow detailed instructions from experienced team members Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively Prior experience in construction, roofing, or related trades is a plus but not required Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics enhances your ability to assist efficiently Willingness to learn new skills such as caulking, trim carpentry, stucco work, masonry, welding, tile laying, or metal stud framing This role offers an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact the success of each project.
