Job Description
We are seeking reliable and hardworking commercial Roofing Laborers / General Construction Laborers to join our team in Carteret, NJ. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and willing to learn proper roofing techniques and safety procedures. Experience in commercial roofing or construction is preferred but not required — we are willing to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities
- Assist with roof installations, repairs, and tear-offs on commercial and industrial projects
- Load and unload roofing materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow instructions from foremen and supervisors
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- Previous roofing or construction experience preferred (TPO, EPDM, metal, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Compensation & Benefits
