Job Description
Job Summary Growing property maintenance and repair company seeking a dependable, skilled, and professional Field Technician to perform residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and light construction work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with clients, and can work independently while representing the company in the field. This position offers consistent work opportunities with room for growth as the company expands. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and basic tools are required. Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial repair and maintenance work Complete drywall repairs, painting touch-ups, caulking, patching, and general handyman tasks Install and replace fixtures, hardware, doors, locks, shelving, blinds, and other building components Perform basic carpentry and light construction work Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify practical solutions Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, property managers, and company staff Document completed work with photos and notes when required Pick up materials as needed for projects Work safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards Experience/Requirements Previous experience in property maintenance, construction, handyman services, remodeling, or related trades Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (required) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Basic hand tools and cordless tools We're looking for someone who: Shows up on time Takes ownership of their work Can be trusted in customers' homes and businesses Has a positive attitude Solves problems instead of creating them Wants steady work and an opportunity to grow with a company from the ground floor Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for bonuses and advancement Flexible scheduling available for the right candidate
