Job Summary :

Performs work involving application and repair of various types of roofing on residential properties. Work is performed under general direction of a foreman, but independence and and individual responsibility is required.

Job Requirements:

18 years of age or older Able to lift 50 lbs. & climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet Have reliable transportation Authorized to work in the

United States Responsibilities:

Applies shingle roofing, sets flashing and expansion joints, size & cut roofing materials to properly fit corners, pipes, etc. Applies and fastens roofing materials Inspects and determines repairs needed on residential properties

• Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs. Ensure the proper use of tools and safety equipment at all times. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of standard roofing practices, methods, equipment, materials, machines and tools of the trade, of construction and use of scaffolding, as well as occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
• Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.
• Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other Sahlem's Roofing & Siding employees.

Pay:

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
