Sealcoating Technician

Upstate Asphalt & Sealcoating is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our seasonal sealcoating crew. This is an outdoor, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outside, and working with a tight-knit team. No experience? No problem. We provide hands-on training for sealcoating and asphalt maintenance. For motivated team members, there is also an opportunity to learn job sales and earn commission on top of hourly pay. What You'll Be Doing Preparing residential driveways and commercial lots for sealcoating Applying asphalt sealer using brushes Performing hot and cold pour crack treatment Assisting with line striping application Loading and unloading materials and equipment Maintaining tools and equipment Keeping job sites clean and professional Following safety procedures at all times (Optional) Learning how to generate and close sales for commission What We're Looking For 18+ years old Able to lift 50+ lbs consistently Comfortable working outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Reliable transportation to meet at job sites or designated locations Available for flexible hours (some weekends required) Team-oriented mindset Experience in landscaping, construction, paving, roofing, or similar outdoor labor is a plus — but not required.
