Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems using hand tools and power tools Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to ensure secure working conditions Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate roofing procedures Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and other roofing components safely and efficiently Use caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to ensure seamless roofing joints and edges Support in the fabrication and installation of roof-related components like flashing, vents, and gutters Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience Prior construction site experience or hands-on work with roofing projects preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment is highly desirable Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings related to roofing or general construction Experience with heavy lifting tasks and working at heights safely is a plus Knowledge of related trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or remodeling enhances your versatility on-site Previous handyman experience or exposure to restoration projects is beneficial Demonstrated ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively within a team environment Join us in building resilient roofs that stand the test of time!
