Seal coating experience

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional with extensive seal coating experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective seal coats to asphalt surfaces, and crack filling , primarily asphalt pavements, to extend their lifespan and improve their appearance. Your expertise in construction painting, surface preparation, and the use of specialized tools will ensure high-quality results on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing cracks, and applying primers as needed for optimal seal coat adhesion Operate power tools, airless paint sprayers, hand tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently during application processes Apply seal coating materials evenly across surfaces using brushes,or spray equipment to achieve a smooth finish Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and surface layouts Perform surface repairs including patching, crack filling and applying Sealcoat Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and surfaces are properly protected against weather and wear Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for documentation and client reporting Experience Proven experience in seal coating applications on asphalt or similar surfaces with a strong understanding of construction site procedures Hands-on experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and surface preparation techniques Knowledge of residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, restoration projects, and renovation processes Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools including airless paint sprayers Familiarity with construction estimating software and basic math skills for measurements and material calculations Prior experience working on construction sites with safety protocols in place; ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately Additional handyman experience or maintenance skills that support diverse project needs will be considered an asset Join us if you're passionate about construction quality and eager to bring your seal coating expertise to impactful projects!
