Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Remodeling, Roofing, and Construction Contractor to lead and execute a variety of residential and commercial renovation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in construction, roofing, and general contracting to transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship. As a vital part of our team, you will oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction at every step. Your hands-on experience and technical knowledge will drive successful project completion while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate remodeling, roofing, and general construction projects from initial planning through completion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently on-site. Perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, stucco application, tile laying, masonry work, metal stud framing, carpentry, trim carpentry, caulking, welding, concrete forming, fabrication, plumbing rough-ins, and restoration work. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and building codes; address any issues promptly. Estimate project costs accurately using construction estimating techniques; manage material procurement and inventory. Collaborate with clients, architects, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and project milestones are met. Maintain detailed documentation including work logs, incident reports, inspection checklists, and progress reports. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, remodeling projects, roofing installation/repair, and general contracting roles. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and technical drawings. Strong background in roofing techniques along with masonry skills such as stucco application and tile laying. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; experience with framing carpentry and metal stud framing preferred. Knowledge of plumbing systems installation/repair; experience in restoration projects is a plus. Skilled in welding techniques; capable of fabricating custom components when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills with handyman experience across various trades including masonry and carpentry. Valid certifications or licenses relevant to construction trades are highly desirable.
