In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of commercial and residential buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Install new roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials according to blueprints and schematics Repair or replace damaged or aging roofs, ensuring all work meets safety standards and building codes Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials such as caulking or sealants Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise roofing layouts Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate efficient project progress Collaborate with team members on framing, metal stud framing, masonry, or other related construction tasks as needed Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met and perform restoration or remodeling tasks when required Experience Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or maintenance within a construction environment Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment on construction sites Knowledge of various roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, stucco finishes, or membrane systems Background in related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plumbing, welding or tile laying is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Prior experience working with schematics or technical diagrams for complex roofing projects Join us to build durable roofs that stand the test of time!
