Required:

• 2-4 years roofing experience
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices
• Step into leadership role as needed
• Valid driver's license

Summary:

As a Roofer 2, you will perform skilled roofing work with minimal supervision, help train less experienced crew members, and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and safely. You are second command on the jobsite and can confidently run the crew when the Lead Man is unavailable.

Duties Include:

• Acting as second in command and running the crew when needed
• Performing skilled roofing tasks independently
• Lift and carry supplies and tools weighing 50 pounds + and work at heights in varied weather
• Assisting with coordination of daily work activities
• Installing composition shingles, metal roofing, and low-slope systems
• Repairing/replacing materials and identifying safety issues
• Supporting and mentoring Roofing 3 team members
