In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on commercial buildings, ensuring durability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in roofing projects, demonstrate proficiency with various tools and materials, and have a strong understanding of construction principles. Key Responsibilities:

Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including asphalt, metal, tile, copper, and built-up roofs Repair and maintain existing roofs by replacing damaged sections, sealing leaks, and performing preventative maintenance Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites Assist with framing, metal stud framing, and concrete forming as needed for roofing structures Apply caulking, sealants, and other waterproofing materials to ensure roof integrity Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Collaborate with project managers and other trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and welding teams Support restoration projects by applying roofing techniques suitable for building repairs or remodeling efforts Maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times Preform construction duties at elevated heights using scaffolding

Requirements:

Proven experience in commercial roofing projects with a solid understanding of roofing systems and installation techniques Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assess project scope and material needs Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with construction site safety practices and heavy lifting procedures Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (stucco), plumbing, welding, tile laying, and restoration work is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and project managers If you are passionate about delivering high-quality roofing solutions through skilled craftsmanship and safety-conscious practices, we encourage you to apply today.
