Roofing Quality Control Officer

Role Snapshot The Quality Control Officer (QCO) ensures all roofing projects meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety requirements. This role conducts on-site inspections, identifies deficiencies, and partners with crews, project managers, homeowners, and building owners to ensure work is done right the first time. The QCO is essential to protecting our reputation through quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This is not a roofing labor position. It focuses on developing expertise in identifying, installing, and inspecting roofing systems, with occasional involvement in sales. Spanish bilingual ability is a plus. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site inspections of roofing projects at various stages of completion Ensure compliance with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes Identify installation issues and communicate corrective actions to crews and project managers Document inspection findings with photos and detailed notes Verify proper material installation per project specifications Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns quickly and effectively Provide coaching and feedback to improve crew performance Track and report recurring issues to leadership for process improvement Perform final quality inspections prior to project completion Follow all safety protocols at all times Able to work overtime when necessary Other duties as assigned Skills & Experience 3-5 years of residential and/or commercial roofing experience preferred. Open to training a motivated candidate with less experience who demonstrates strong potential.
