Roofing Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

Roofing Assistant supports skilled roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, handling various tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in

Installation and Repair:

Support roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofing systems.

Material Preparation:

Prepare and transport materials to the job site, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for the roofing team.

Site Maintenance:

Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring that tools and equipment are organized and safe to use.

Safety Compliance:

Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Basic Roofing Duties:

Perform basic roofing tasks under the supervision of experienced roofers, such as measuring, cutting, and applying roofing materials.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
