Immediate Openings
  • Local contractor is hiring dependable Plumbing and Construction Helpers to assist with commercial pipe installation projects throughout the Columbia area.
Full-time work, No Weekends Local projects — home every night Long-term career opportunity with room for advancement This is a great opportunity for someone with a construction, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical background who wants to learn a skilled trade. All work is local and employees return home each day, however, you will be required to drive your own transportation to job sites. What You'll Do 1. Assist experienced installers on commercial job sites 2. Carry and stage pipe and materials 3. Cut, thread, and prepare pipe for installation 4. Use hand tools and power tools 5. Load and unload materials 6. Help maintain a safe and organized work area 7. Learn commercial installation techniques from experienced crews
Requirements:
  • Your own reliable transportation is required with a valid Driver's License.
  • Construction, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, or similar experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry materials throughout the day
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and follow directions

Compensation:
$17 per hour to start
  • 90 day training rate. Eligible raises as soon as 90 days. Interviews start immediately
