Roofing Full Job Description Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Roofing Lead Service Technician and Roofing Service Technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company in the roofing industry. The ideal candidates will have an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.Lead Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential and commercial roofs
- Repair leaks, replace damaged shingles, and seal joints
- Clean gutters and ensure proper water flow and drainage
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Work independently or as part of a crew, depending on the project
Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Service Technician with repairs and maintenance tasks
- Carry materials and tools to the worksite
- Assist with cleaning and preparing job sites
- Hold ladders and provide support during roofing tasks
- Follow safety guidelines and work under supervision
Requirements:
Lead Service Technician:
- Previous experience in roofing or construction
- Strong understanding of Commercial AND Residential roofing structure and repairs
- Ability to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- OSHA certification is a plus
Service Technician:
- No experience required, but previous work in construction or roofing is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
