In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality sealants, caulking, and waterproofing materials to ensure the durability and integrity of commercial building projects. Your expertise will help protect structures from water intrusion, air leaks, and other environmental factors, contributing to the longevity and safety of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver exceptional results. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of sealants and waterproofing materials Apply sealants, caulking, and waterproofing products accurately using hand tools and power tools in accordance with project specifications and schematics Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to safety standards Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and identify critical areas needing sealing or waterproofing Operate heavy equipment and scaffolding safely when working on elevated or hard-to-reach surfaces Coordinate with construction management teams to schedule work phases and ensure timely completion of sealing tasks Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in compliance with safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in commercial sealant application, caulking, waterproofing, or related construction fields Strong knowledge of construction management principles, estimating, inspection procedures, and blueprint reading Familiarity with various construction materials including concrete forming, stucco, plastering, masonry, roofing, glazing, cabinetry installation, framing carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, restoration techniques, welding, and general remodeling Ability to operate hand tools such as caulk guns, trowels, scrapers; power tools including drills and saws; heavy equipment operation skills preferred Knowledge of schematics for plumbing and electrical systems relevant to waterproofing applications Experience with fabrication processes related to construction components is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights on scaffolding or ladders Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier waterproofing solutions that stand the test of time!
